The second quarter of 2023 saw varied performance among the top 5 investing and financial management apps on the iOS platform in Costa Rica. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the key trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these leading apps.

MultiMoney: Créditos y ahorro experienced fluctuating download numbers throughout the quarter. It started with 371 downloads in the week of March 27, saw a dip to 217 downloads in mid-April, and then peaked at 430 downloads in the week of May 29. The app maintained a consistent presence without generating any revenue during this period.

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto had a relatively stable download trend, with minor fluctuations. Downloads ranged from a low of 153 in mid-April to a high of 239 in early June. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase, starting from 7K in late March and peaking at approximately 7.5K in early June, before slightly declining to 7K by the end of the quarter.

MetaTrader 5 saw a generally stable but low download volume. The highest download count was 167 in the week of June 5, while the lowest was 63 in the last week of June.
